CANPACK, the Poland-based manufacturer of packaging for the food industry, has appointed Lorenzo Ruffatti to the newly created position of investor relations manager.
He reports to CFO Marius Croitoru and will focus on engagement with bond holders and the wider investment community, according to a company statement.
Ruffatti has more than 20 years of experience in the capital markets. Most recently, he worked at Brokertec, an electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities owned by CME Group. Prior to that, he served in senior roles at UniCredit, Banca IMI and Barclays Capital.
‘Lorenzo’s extensive experience and knowledge, especially in the fixed-income markets, will be a great asset to CANPACK as we continue our growth journey and take a more public position following our debut issue of high-yield bonds toward the end of last year,’ says Croitoru in the statement.
Marta Kopcik, who has overseen IR since last October, continues as CANPACK’s group communications manager and will support the IR team as a contact point for members of the investment community, the statement adds.
