DoubleVerify appoints senior vice president of investor relations

DoubleVerify, a measurement, data and analytics company, has announced the appointment of Tejal Engman as its senior vice president of investor relations.

Engman joins shortly after DoubleVerify’s IPO last month, which raised an estimated $360 mn, according to Forbes. She is now responsible for the company’s IR strategy and performance and reports to Nicola Allais, DoubleVerify’s chief financial officer.

‘I’m excited about the addition of Tejal at such a pivotal time in the growth and global scaling of our business,’ says Allais in a press release. ‘Her extensive knowledge, experience and proven ability to lead companies through complex financial issues make her an excellent addition to the team. I look forward to Tejal’s guidance as we continue to lead the industry in media quality verification and performance, and deliver long-term value to our shareholders.’

Engman has spent her investor relations careers so far working at real estate investment trusts, starting out at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust and most recently working as the senior vice president of investor relations at Host Hotels & Resorts. Prior to moving into investor relations, she spent a decade in institutional equity research sales at Citigroup, JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank.

In a press release, Engman says: ‘I’m thrilled to join such a trusted and valued company, and look forward to applying my experience and leadership to help accelerate [DoubleVerify’s] growth, while protecting the integrity and reputation of the organization.’
