Newmark, a Nasdaq-listed commercial real estate services firm, has appointed Jason McGruder as head of investor relations.
In this role, McGruder is responsible for maintaining and expanding relationships in the investment community while communicating Newmark’s business model, long-term strategy, governance and financial performance.
He joins Newmark from Rocket Companies, where he served as vice president of investor relations. Before that, he was at Cantor Fitzgerald for more than 14 years after joining in 2006, serving as head of investor relations and managing director.
While at Cantor Fitzgerald, he liaised with the capital markets regarding the company and its subsidiaries, including Newmark and BGC Partners, eSpeed and GFI Group. His career also includes roles at Rocket Companies, Jefferies Group and DoubleClick.
