Plus a promotion for Patrizia’s Janina Rochell and new IROs in place at Tonies and Keysight
Amit Bhalla, the long-serving head of IR at Schneider Electric, has moved into a new role in the energy management solution company’s global strategy team.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, Bhalla writes: ‘After a memorable stint leading investor relations and adding significant value over the past nine-and-a-half years, I am excited to embark on a new role at Schneider Electric.
‘I will be moving into global strategy to lead corporate partnerships and alliances and unleash a new lever to value creation.’
A frequent speaker at IR Impact events, Bhalla joined Schneider in 2012 as its vice president, tax and customs. Prior to that he worked in various roles at Nortel Networks, Cisco, Huawei Technologies and RSM. He started his career in consulting.
Over in Germany, drug discovery company Evotec has announced the appointment of Sarah Fakih as its new executive vice president, head of global communications and investor relations.
Her hiring follows the departure of Volker Braun, who led Evotec’s investor relations and ESG function over the past five years. Fakih will report directly to the company’s CEO Christian Wojczewski.
The new head of IR brings more than 15 years of life‑sciences experience and prior senior roles at US-listed companies QIAGEN, MorphoSys and CureVac, and holds a PhD in chemistry.

Staying in Germany, toy maker Tonies has announced the appointment of Moritz Verleger as its new head of IR.
He joins the Deutsche Börse Xetra-listed firm, which sells action figures and audio players for children, after serving for a year as senior manager of investor relations at Delivery Hero. Prior to that, he held IR roles at BIKE24 and adidas and worked as a senior strategy consultant at Deloitte’s German arm.
Meanwhile, listed investment manager Patrizia has promoted Janina Rochell to head up its IR team.
Part of Patrizia’s IR team since 2022, Rochell previously worked in the IR and finance team at Brockhaus Technologies and in various IR and treasury roles at K+S Gruppe. She began her career in the accounting department at SMA Solar Technology.
Finally, over in the US, NYSE-listed engineering technology company Keysight has brought in Liz Morali as its new head of IR.
Morali most recently served as vice president of IR at Applied Materials, where she led the company’s global IR program. Prior to that, she held various IR roles at TD SYNNEX, Micron Technology and AMD.
‘Liz brings deep expertise in investor relations, capital markets and executive communications, along with a strong understanding of the technology and semiconductor landscape,’ says Neil Dougherty, Keysight’s CFO, in a press release announcing the move. ‘She is a seasoned advisor and has a proven ability to build strong relationships with investors while elevating the clarity, discipline and effectiveness of investor communications. We are pleased to welcome Liz to Keysight.’
