NYSE-listed Air Products, a Pennsylvania-headquartered global company specializing in the provision of essential industrial gases, chemicals and related equipment, has named Sidd Manjeshwar as its new head of IR.
Manjeshwar joined the company in April 2021 as vice president and corporate treasurer, overseeing a variety of the company’s operations in capital, liquidity and cash management, corporate finance and treasury planning & analysis, among others.
Manjeshwar brings experience in strategic and financial functions, corporate finance, treasury and investor relations to his new post. Before Air Products, he held a variety of roles including vice president of corporate finance, treasurer and vice president in investment banking divisions at firms including FirstLight Power, Dynegy, Deutsche Bank, Barclays Capital and Lehman Brothers.
‘Sidd brings a breadth of knowledge and expertise across finance disciplines and, since joining Air Products in April 2021 as corporate treasurer, he has played a key role in supporting our financial policies and strategies,’ says Melissa Schaeffer, senior vice president and CFO at Air Products.
‘As Sidd moves forward to also lead our investor relations function, he will be an excellent resource for the investment community as we continue to communicate and execute our core industrial gas and hydrogen megaproject growth strategy.’
In an official statement, the company says Manjeshwar will work closely with vice president of IR and corporate relations and sustainability Simon Moore, who plans to retire in 2023, to ensure a ‘smooth transition’ of IR responsibilities.
