Before the prize-giving, IR professionals will gather at the IR Magazine Forum – Greater China 2024 to discuss the latest IR trends and best practices.

Panels will cover topics such as new corporate governance rules, how to attract international investors, tactics for effective time management and much more.

The awards are divided into two categories. The first – awards by research – is based on a survey of hundreds of regional portfolio managers, buy-side analysts and sell-side analysts, with prizes given for best overall investor relations, best investor relations officer, best international IR and best in sector.

The second category – awards by nomination – sees companies and their representatives submit entries focused on specific areas of IR practice, such as annual reports, investor meetings and innovation. The winners are decided by a panel of judges, which this year includes:

  • Jack Chang, director, Taiwan Investor Relations Institute
  • Stanley Choi, partner, Prospervest Family Office Group and COO, Wofoo Social Enterprises
  • William Tsang, chief risk officer, Chartwell Capital
  • Gabriel Wilson-Otto, head of sustainable investing strategy, Fidelity International
  • Tim Human, senior reporter, IR Magazine
