Other companies topping the shortlists include Duolingo, Moody’s Corporation, JPMorgan Chase & Co and GE Aerospace
The IR team at Reddit will hope to turn a successful IPO year into a successful night of award wins, after the social media company picked up six nominations at the upcoming IR Impact Awards – US 2025.
The platform, which made its $6.4 bn market debut in March 2024, appears on the shortlists for six awards by nomination, the winners of which will be determined by IR Impact’s panel of expert judges.
Awards Reddit could win at the gala event, which takes place on March 16 at the Ciprani on Broadway in New York City, include the prizes for best innovation in shareholder communications, best IR during a corporate transaction and the rising star award for Jesse Rose, the firm’s head of investor relations.
With five nominations, language-learning app Duolingo is also a front runner ahead of the awards evening. It will contest the best overall investor relations (mid-cap) award alongside Advanced Energy Industries, Autoliv, Bread Financial Holdings, Itron, Lear Corporation and Pentair. Meanwhile, Debbie Belevan, Duolingo’s head of IR, is also nominated for the best investor relations officer – mid cap.
The grand prize for best overall investor relations (large cap) will go to one of Amazon.com, Boston Scientific, CSX Corporation, JPMorgan Chase & Co, Tesla, Uber Technologies or Waste Connections.
JPMorgan Chase & Co, Moody’s Corporation and GE Aerospace will all contend four categories on the evening, while five more companies appear across five shortlists.

Appearing for the first time in 2025 are two new categories: the award for best buy-side management and the award for best sell-side management. Each recognize IR teams that have implemented innovative ways of interacting with the buy or sell side, whether by introducing new event formats, engagement efforts or other solutions.
The IR Impact Awards – US 2025 will take place on Thursday, March 16 in New York. This very special event honors excellence in the investor relations profession across the US.
The awards themselves are split into two sections. The awards-by-research categories are decided by a survey of portfolio managers, buy-side analysts and sell-side analysts who cover US companies. They select the winners for the best overall IR, best IRO, best IR by a senior management team and best in sector categories.
The awards-by-nomination categories cover a range of IR practice areas, such as annual reports, ESG reporting, investor meetings, use of technology and crisis management. Companies are able to submit entries for the different awards, with the winners chosen by a panel of expert judges.
This year’s panel of judges are:
- Sally Curley, CEO at Curley Global IR
- William Galligan, former vice president of investor relations at Kansas City Southern
- Carol Murray-Negron, president at Equanimity
- Thaddeus Pollock, head of equities at Mutual of America
- Maureen Wolff, CEO at Sharon Merrill Associates
- Laurie Havelock, editor at IR Impact.
