NIRI’s Megan Larson joins private energy firm and Meira taps S&P for new CEO

Plus new IROs at AUMOVIO and DOMINO’s UK AND IRELAND

After a ‘relaxing yet productive summer’ – in which she gained her US Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Master License, among other things – Megan Larson has joined Efficient Markets, the unlisted holding company for EnergyNet and Indigo Energy Advisors.

Larson, who was part of NIRI’s 2025 40 under 40 cohort, comes most recently from a six-year stint at Murphy Oil Corporation. At Efficient Markets, she takes up the role vice president of strategic markets.

She recently shared some tips around her home state of Texas, talking to IR Impact about how cities like Dallas are increasingly on the roadshow radar.

Over in Dubai, Meira has announced Reza Eftekhari as its new CEO, replacing Paolo Casamassima, who is now at Arqaam Capital.

Eftekhari joins the association from S&P Global where he spent five years in M&A, activism and corporate governance advisory. Prior to S&P Global, he held roles at Morrow Sodali, DF King and Georgeson.

‘It’s a real honour to lead such an important organization at a time of extraordinary growth and momentum across our region’s capital markets,’ he writes in a LinkedIn post announcing his new role at Meira, adding that he had met many in the community at the most recent Meira conference, which was held in Muscat, Oman at the end of September.

‘With record IPO activity, expanding investor interest and increasing focus on governance and sustainability, investor relations is more important than ever,’ writes Eftekhari.

Revved up

In Germany, Lutz Ackermann has been named head of IR at newly public AUMOVIO, which successfully listed in Frankfurt last month at €35 ($40) per share, giving the company a market cap of €3.5 bn, following its spin off from Continental.

‘I am excited to have joined a company that just had its debut on the stock exchange and to present the equity story to the capital market from the get go,’ Ackermann writes on LinkedIn.

‘Although the automotive industry is in a challenging environment, AUMOVIO is well positioned and has a lot of potential to create value for shareholders. I am looking forward to working closely together with the entire AUMOVIO team –thank you already for the warm welcome today.’

He also gave a nod to his old firm. ‘I look back on almost five years as head of IR at FUCHS Group and am proud of what we have achieved together.’

Elsewhere, Utah-headquartered Waystar Holding has named Sue Dooley as its new IR lead. Dooley took to LinkedIn to talk about what sealed the deal for her move to the AI-driven cloud company.

‘What drew me here starts with exceptional leadership and a strong culture,’ she writes. ‘From my initial conversations, the Waystar team’s commitment, energy and track record impressed me. I’ve received a welcome that demonstrates this strong culture and I’m excited to partner with the many talented colleagues who will power the engine driving Waystar IR.

‘Waystar builds AI-powered, mission-critical software that simplifies healthcare payments so providers can prioritize patient care and optimize their financial performance,’ she continues. ‘I am excited to join my teammates to pursue this worthy mission and deliver impact for all stakeholders.‘

Domino hoo hoo!

Over in the UK, Michael Barker is likely enjoying a hot slice after sharing the news that he is the new director of investor relations at Domino’s Pizza UK and Ireland.

Barker spent 12 years at easyJet before a stint at Mobico Group this year.
