Ryan Weispfenning, head of IR at the multiple IR Impact award-winning team at Medtronic, is taking up a new role in the team at the medical device company’s diabetes spin-off. The news comes as Ingrid Goldberg has been named as Weispfenning’s replacement, with both changes coming into effect as of December 8.

Just ask Block’s new head of IR, Matthew Ross, who joined the company in 2024 and took over running the IR team earlier this year. Florent Chaix has taken up pole position in the IR team at car maker Renault, taking over as head of investor relations from outgoing chief Philippine de Schonen. Joining immediately, Chaix will work alongside de Schonen during a transition period lasting until September 12, during which time she will retain her role as director of M&A. The company adds that de Schonen is leaving the company ‘to pursue a new professional challenge’.
