Plus new heads of IR at Chubb and Ambac Financial as FGS Global brings in Daniel Röska
US automation and technology firm Honeywell has appointed a new head of IR as its existing chief leaves to head up a new team at a soon-to-be spun-off company.
Sean Meakim, who currently serves as vice president of IR and strategic finance for the Nasdaq-traded company, will head up the IR function at Honeywell Aerospace, in a move effective February 2, 2026. The new firm is expected to be spun off from the larger company in the first half of next year.
Meakim will be replaced by Mark Macaluso, who led IR and global communications at ITT for the past five years. Prior to ITT, Macaluso spent more than 12 years at Honeywell, including serving as vice president, business analysis and planning for the company’s performance materials and technologies arm, and as vice president, IR. During his tenure at Honeywell, he led the company’s investor relations strategy during several transformational events.
Meakim joined Honeywell in 2021 as its head of IR, adding strategic finance responsibilities in 2024. Prior to this, he spent more than a decade as a top-ranked equity research analyst covering the energy technology sector at JPMorgan and Barclays.
‘We are fortunate to enter this next chapter with two investor relations leaders who each bring extensive networks within the investment community and deep knowledge of our business and investor base,’ says Mike Stepniak, Honeywell’s CFO.
Meanwhile, there is a similar changing of the IR guard at NYSE-listed insurance company Chubb, which has brought in Susan Spivak as its senior vice president, investor relations in a move effective November 17, 2025.
She brings more than two decades of experience in senior IR and equity markets roles, leading teams at The Hartford, Argo Group International Holdings and Alterra Capital Holdings (formerly Max Capital). Earlier in her career, she served as an equity analyst with Wachovia Securities, ABN Amro and Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette.
Peter Enns, CFO at Chubb, says: ‘We are pleased to welcome Susan to Chubb to lead our investor relations team, where her broad experience in corporate finance, investor engagement and financial communications will be a tremendous asset.’
Spivak comes in to replace Karen Beyer, who is moving to a new role as managing director and head of investor relations at fellow insurance group Ambac Financial.
Beyer has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry, with a background spanning both buy- and sell-side analyst roles. Her previous positions include portfolio management and senior analyst roles at State Street Global Advisors, GE Asset Management and New York Life Investment Management, where she focused on the US financial services sector.
‘I am thrilled to welcome Karen to Ambac at this pivotal moment in our transformational journey,’ says David Trick, CFO at Ambac.
Finally, stakeholder strategy company FGS Global has brought in Daniel Röska as a partner in its equity advisory and investor relations practice.
Daniel brings more than 20 years of experience at the intersection of corporate strategy and capital markets, most recently serving as a sell-side analyst at Bernstein Research.
Brigitte von Haacke, CEO of continental Europe at FGS Global, says: ‘[Daniel] brings together corporate strategy and capital markets expertise, decades of experience in one of the most dynamic industry sectors and a deep understanding of client needs on both sides of the Atlantic. This is exactly the combination we need to take our practice to the next level.’
