Dana Nolan, the long-serving head of investor relations at Regions Financial, has announced that she will retire in April after a 37-year career with the company.
Following her departure, the company’s current head of strategy and corporate development Tom Speir will take over as head of investor relations, the NYSE-listed firm writes in a press release.
Nolan has led the IR team at Regions since 2016, prior to which she served as associate director of investor relations – beginning in 2010 on the back of various leadership roles in the company’s treasury division. ‘We are deeply thankful for her leadership and we are confident Tom will build continued success on the strong foundation Dana and her team have consistently maintained.’
The move comes shortly after Regions’ CFO David Turner announced he would step down from his role, with internal candidate Anil Chadha taking up the finance chief role in January.
‘Tom’s background and leadership in balance sheet management, interest rate risk management and capital and liquidity management – combined with his experience in developing and executing corporate strategy – will be invaluable as we continue communicating our strong financial performance in a competitive environment,’ adds Chadha.
