Meanwhile Kathleen Nemeth announces she is stepping down from her role at Omnicell
The award-winning Pfizer IR team has added Jack Yauch to its ranks, taking on the role of director, investor relations.
Yauch joins Pfizer after four years working for consultancy Solebury Strategic Communications, where he specialised in the biotechnology sector. Prior to that, he worked in the advisory team at KPMG, covering the life sciences industry.
He was in attendance at the recent IR Impact Awards – US 2026, where the Pfizer team scooped the award for best retail IR strategy.
Elsewhere, Kathleen Nemeth, senior vice president of investor relations at Omnicell, has announced that she is stepping down from the role after five and a half years with the company.
Nemeth joined the healthcare technology company in 2020 as its vice president of investor relations. Prior to that, she worked for more than 10 years as corporate vice president, IR for Juniper Networks, and spend 12 years as director of investor relations at Lam Research.
Announcing the move on LinkedIn, she writes: ‘It has been an honor to help build and lead Omnicell ’s first Investor Relations function and to represent such a purpose driven team to Wall Street during a period of growth, transformation, and change for the company.
‘One of the most rewarding parts of my role was the opportunity to spend time with nurses and pharmacists and hear about their daily experiences. Those conversations deepened my understanding of just how important Omnicell’s mission is in supporting the people who care for patients every day.
‘I am very excited about my next chapter and I look forward to sharing all the deets soon!’
Staying in the US, Julianna Paterra has revealed that she has joined Progressive Insurance as its new director of investor relations.
She joins the company after a year as senior manager, investor relations at Allstate. Prior to that, she held IR roles at Verano and the Kraft Heinz Company after starting her career as a research analyst at Marquette Associates.
In the UK, Aditya Jhaveri has taken up a new position as investor relations manager at Hg, an LSE-listed private equity firm that targets technology buyouts.
He joins the firm after two years in the investor relations team at Apax. Prior to that, he worked as a senior research analyst at S&P Global’s London office.
Writing on LinkedIn, he adds: ‘I’m deeply grateful to my colleagues and mentors at Apax for the support and invaluable experiences over the last few years. It’s been a privilege to work alongside such a talented team.
‘I’m looking forward to continuing my career in the listed private equity space and reconnecting with colleagues across the investment trust community as I hit the ground running with the Hg team!’
Meanwhile in Basel, Switzerland, biopharmaceutical company BioVersys has announced the appointment of Anca Cighi as head of investor relations and communications.
Cighi brings 15 years of experience in corporate communications and capital markets advisory, most recently serving as head of IR and corporate affairs at Aramex. Prior to that, she was senior director, strategic communications at FTI Consulting in Dubai.
‘I am honoured to join BioVersys at this important stage in its development,’ she says. ‘I look forward to supporting the team in communicating our strategy, progress and key milestones and maintaining a close relationship with our shareholders.’
Finally, and on the subject of award winners, there’s a unique opportunity to join the IR Impact trophy-taking team at logistics company FedEx.
Matt DeBerry, the company’s staff director, investor relations and joint winner of this year’s rising star award, posted a link to the ‘high-impact’ role, which he added would suit a senior-level IR professional.
‘This is a senior‑level role for someone with experience in financial analysis, investor relations, asset management, corporate financial communications or equity research who enjoys working closely with executive leadership to articulate the company’s strategy, performance, and long‑term value proposition to investors and analysts,’ he writes on LinkedIn.
