In addition to the new Global Top 50 ranking for 2014, winners of four special awards were declared: Global Top IRO, for the best investor relations officer; Global Top Small/Mid-Cap IRO; Global Top Small/Mid-Cap; and Most Progress in IR. All the results and rankings are listed below.

The Global Top 50 was calculated based on IR Magazine’s annual surveys of investors and analysts for its awards programs in the US, Canada, Europe, Greater China, South East Asia and Brazil.

The Global Top 50 Awards ceremony was part of the three-day Global IR Forum presented by IR Magazine and the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), held in New York City on November 17-19.

‘We are proud to partner with IR Magazine on the Global Top 50 awards,’ said Christopher M. Kearns, CEO of BNY Mellon’s Depositary Receipts business. ‘We recognize the importance of a sound approach to the investor relations function and laud those companies that have achieved global recognition for their ability to effectively reach out to investors.’
