IR Magazine spoke with Manuel Taverne, director of investor relations at FACC, at the IR Magazine Global Forum 2019 in Paris, which took place on October 2-3.
Taverne discussed building an IR brand to attract the right investors, the internal preparations required before targeting investors and how to select the right brokers to support your IR efforts. He also discussed Mifid II, saying he views the impact of the European regulation as positive.
‘For some it is a win-lose situation – I see it as a win-win situation,’ he said. ‘Everyone was concerned about less research, less corporate access… Today someone is paying for the meeting. It’s either me or the fund – so we both expect quality, we both expect a good outcome.’
