Russia’s invasion of Ukraine changed how many companies communicated with the market but, for German automotive and arms manufacturer Rheinmetall it completely changed the company’s story. We spoke to the company’s head of IR, Dirk Winkels, to learn a bit more about how far the goalposts have been shifted.
Winkels was nominated for the best IRO – large cap category while his team were short listed for the best overall IR – large cap award. On the night itself, Rheinmetall’s team went home with the trophy for best in sector – industrials.
