IR Magazine opened Toronto Stock Exchange on Friday, February 3, following on from the Canada Awards ceremony the previous night.
We were joined by four award winners who helped us open the stock exchange:
– Adam Borgatti, vice president of corporate development & IR at Aecon Group, who won the best investor relations officer (small cap) award. The company also won the best overall investor relations (small cap) category
– Mark Chyc-Cies, director of corporate planning and investor relations at Veresen, which took home the most progress in IR gong
– Steve Douglas, vice president of investor relations at Suncor Energy, which won the award for best sustainability practice
– Samantha Taccone, investor relations co-ordinator at CGI, which was recognized for best IR in the technology sector.
