When Mark Furlong joined Blackbaud in 2013, he was a certified public accountant with experience in corporate finance. But by March 2018, Furlong was standing on stage at the IR Magazine Awards – US, having just won the rising star category.
In this video interview, Furlong, who now serves as director of investor relations at Blackbaud, talks about his transition into IR, how he got up to speed and who he turned to for advice during his transition.
