Global power supply manufacturer Advanced Energy Industries has appointed two capital markets veterans to its new-look IR team.
Edwin Mok joins the company on September 4 as vice president of strategic marketing and investor relations. He will work closely with the company’s leadership, product engineering and business development teams, as well as conducting market and industry analysis, and oversee the company’s investor relations program.
Brian Smith joined the company in August as director of investor relations. In this role, he is responsible for the execution of the investor relations program.
Mok and Smith bring a wealth of capital markets experience between them. Mok most recently served as managing director and senior research analyst for Needham and Company, where he covered the semiconductor and clean energy industries for 13 years. Smith spent the last 10 years as director of investor relations at Electro Scientific Industries and has previous finance and operations experience at Ford, Payless and Tektronix.
