Winners announced for the IR Magazine Awards – South East Asia 2019

Century Pacific Food was the biggest winner at the IR Magazine Awards – South East Asia 2019, walking away with three prizes in all.

The Philippine food company picked up awards for best overall investor relations (small cap), best annual report (small cap) and rising star for Giovanna Vera, Century Pacific’s head of IR and treasury.

Following closely behind, CapitaLand, Manulife US REIT and Thai Union Group picked up two awards each.

The awards were divided into two sections: the awards-by-research categories saw the winners and nominees selected by a survey of portfolio managers, buy-side analysts and sell-side analysts who cover the South East Asia region.

In the awards-by-nomination categories, a panel of judges – including experienced IR officers and investment professionals – picked the short lists and winners.

The awards event followed a day of lively discussion and debate at the IR Magazine Forum – South East Asia 2019. Topics covered included the future of the capital markets, strengthening ESG communications and the role of IR in a crisis.
