Kaman Corporation promotes IR lead

Kaman Corporation has promoted its IR lead, James Coogan, to vice president of investor relations and business development.

Coogan joined Kaman Corporation in 2008 and has served as vice president of investor relations since 2017. In his new role, which he started on January 1, he reports to Neal Keating, Kaman Corporation’s president and CEO.

Prior to moving into IR at Kaman, Coogan was responsible for external reporting and SEC compliance. Before joining Kaman, he held positions at Ann Taylor, Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority and PwC.

‘Jamie has been integral in building relationships with our investor community and has been an essential team member for both the divestiture of Kaman Distribution Group and pending Bal Seal acquisition,’ Keating says in a press release. ‘I look forward to his continued success in building out and executing Kaman’s long-term growth strategy.’

In November 2019 Kaman Corporation announced that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Bal Seal for $330 mn.
