Plus new head of IR in place at cooler maker Yeti Holdings
Trading platform eToro has promoted its former global PR and communications manager Ilaria Pattareeya Luca to its IR team following its recent IPO.
Shares in eToro made their debut on the Nasdaq exchange in May after the company delayed its plans to list from January, citing concerns regarding Donald Trump’s latest round of trade tariffs.
The company’s stock traded at nearly 34 percent above its IPO pricing, valuing it at around $4.2 bn when the markets closed on May 14.
Luca has worked at eToro for three years in the firm’s PR and communications team. Prior to that, she served in various corporate affairs roles at Edelman’s London office.
Announcing her new position as manager, investor relations and corporate development on LinkedIn, Luca writes: ‘I’ve officially made a career pivot and stepped into the role of investor relations and corporate development manager at eToro!
‘After three years of learning, building and having fun, I’m buzzing to officially start this next chapter of my career.’
She will work under Elad Lavi, eToro’s executive vice president of corporate development and strategy, who currently leads the IR function.
Over in Austin, Texas, cooler and drinkware maker Yeti Holdings has announced the appointment of Arvind Bhatia as vice president, investor relations.
Reporting to CFO Mike McMullen, Bhatia will ‘create the company’s proactive investor relations strategy and oversee outreach to the investment community,’ Yeti says in a press release.
With a career that spans 25 years in investor relations, equity research and business development, Bhatia joins Yeti from SharkNinja, where he led the firm’s IR strategy as it made its stock market debut. He also held similar roles at Grocery Outlet, At Home Group and Dave and Busters.
‘Arvind brings with him a deep knowledge of the consumer space, extensive sell-side experience and a proven track record of fostering strong relationships with investors,’ says McMullen. ‘We’re thrilled to have him join the team as we continue to focus on enhancing shareholder value.’
Bhatia adds: ‘Yeti has built an incredibly strong brand, a track record of innovation and a values-driven culture that sets it apart. I’m grateful for the opportunity to lead investor relations and build on the strong foundation already in place. I believe the company’s story, portfolio and long-term growth potential remain very compelling and I look forward to showcasing the significant value still ahead.’
