OneMain Financial has appointed Peter Poillon as its new head of investor relations. Poillon joined the company on April 12 and reports into Micah Conrad, OneMain Financial’s CFO.
Poillon joined First Data Corporation in 2015 as the company went public in the largest IPO of that year. He stayed with the company during its 2019 merger with Fiserv, occupying the role of senior vice president and director of investor relations.
Prior to Fiserv, Poillon was senior vice president of IR for Willis Group Holdings. The early stages of his career were spent in professional services, with Cowen, Ambac Financial Group and KPMG.
‘Peter brings more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance and public accounting to OneMain,’ Conrad says in a statement. ‘We will benefit greatly from his significant experience in investor relations and strong understanding of capital markets, financial communications and relationship-building across the financial services industry.’
