OraSure Technologies, the Nasdaq-listed healthcare company, has appointed Scott Gleason as senior vice president of investor relations and corporate communications.
Most recently, he worked at Myriad Genetics, a specialty diagnostic laboratory, as senior vice president of IR and corporate strategy.
Prior to that, Gleason was an analyst at investment bank Stephens where he covered diagnostics and life sciences companies. He also served in the US Air Force as an aircraft maintenance officer.
‘Scott comes to OraSure with more than 20 years of executive leadership experience focused on investment banking, investor relations, corporate communications, corporate strategy and business development,’ says Stephen Tang, president and CEO of OraSure, in a statement.
‘His extensive experience gives him a unique insight that will make him a strong addition to OraSure’s executive team as the company advances its work to help solve the world’s greatest health challenges.’
