VF Corporation names Allegra Perry as vice president of investor relations

VF Corporation, the owner of retail brands including North Face and Timberland, has appointed Allegra Perry as its vice president of investor relations, effective January 2022. She will report to Matt Puckett, the company’s CFO.

Perry will join the company from Watches of Switzerland Group, where she currently serves as director of IR and corporate affairs and was responsible for setting up a new IR team following the company’s IPO. Prior to that, she was head of strategic planning and IR at luxury fashion brand Mulberry.

Earlier in her career, Perry worked as an equity research analyst, holding roles at Lehman Brothers, Nomura International and Cantor Fitzgerald, all focused on the retail sector.

‘We’re excited for Allegra to join the VF family and lead our investor relations function into this next phase,’ says Puckett in a statement.

‘She brings the ideal blend of experience having held senior-level roles across investment banking, business development and investor relations, all within the global apparel and retail sectors. She knows our industry inside and out, and her extensive international experience will be invaluable as we communicate VF’s story of global growth in the years ahead.’

Last month VF Corporation announced second-quarter results that missed analyst expectations amid Covid-19-related supply-chain disruption. But the retail business felt confident enough in the demand outlook to reaffirm its fiscal 2022 guidance.

In the statement, Perry adds: ‘I am honored to join VF Corporation, a leading company with a portfolio of iconic brands and exciting growth prospects ahead. My entire career has been positioned at the intersection of capital markets and the global retail sector, and I look forward to applying my knowledge and expertise to further elevate the investor relations program at VF.’
