At the IR Magazine Awards – Canada 2024, we spoke with Dennis Westfall, head of IR at Ontario-headquartered insurer Definity Financial Corporation.
Westfall was nominated at this year’s awards for best IR officer in his market cap. The company also received a nomination for best in sector (financials).
Reflecting on the past 12 months, Westfall says that despite the challenging economic climate that has dominated the past year – with rising inflation and supply-chain issues, among others – the company was able to demonstrate its resilience.
He also notes the company has undergone significant growth since its IPO in 2021 and is poised for continued success within its current mid-level market cap and beyond.
