Plus new IROs in place at Framery and Yukon Metals
Jonida Zaganjori has swapped informing investors about lithium extraction in favour of new uranium projects after joining Canadian exploration and development company NexGen Energy.
A graduate of Toronto’s York University, Zaganjori started her career at buy-side firm Waratah Capital Advisors before taking on the role of vice president of IR at Lithium Royalty Corp in March 2023, where she served for the next three years.
Speaking to IR Impact in March, she said: ‘When I moved into IR it was a sharp pivot from the private side to the public markets because I was now sitting on the other side of the table. But I’ve always been relationship-driven and I think that background helped me approach IR more as a dialog rather than a one-way communication exercise.’
Announcing her new job on LinkedIn, Zaganjori writes: ‘NexGen is advancing one of the most important uranium projects globally and I’m looking forward to contributing to the company’s next phase of growth.’
In Vancouver, British Columbia, Yukon Metals has brought in Lindsay Wilson as its vice president, investor relations and communications.
An experienced operator in the mineral resource sector, Wilson previously worked as a consultant to develop strategic communications programs for dozens of companies from early-stage explorers to producers, the company notes in a press release.
She also has significant experience in Yukon, having worked with the Yukon Mining Alliance and in community relations with The Metallic Group of Companies.
‘Wilson’s extensive Yukon-focused experience makes her an ideal VP investor relations for Yukon Metals at this stage of our growth,’ says Jim Coates, CEO and director of Yukon Metals. ‘Wilson brings firsthand knowledge of the Yukon exploration landscape, deep relationships across the investment and resource communities and a track record of translating complex exploration stories into clear, compelling narratives.’
Finally, in Tampere, Finland, Framery Group has hired Kati Kaksonen as its new investor relations director, effective from July 2026.
She joins the soundproof smart pod company from Terveystalo, where she has served since its 2017 IPO, most recently as vice president, investor relations and sustainability.
‘We are excited to welcome Kati to Framery. Her proven track record in building world-class investor relations from the ground up and her extensive expertise in the field will be invaluable as Framery continues its global growth journey and strengthens its engagement with the capital markets,’ says the firm’s CFO Lauri Isotalo.
