Plus new IROs in place at Amrize, Kite Realty, Trasteel and Ambu
Power solutions firm Cummins has amped up its IR team with the appointment of James Hopkins, formerly of its engine business finance and strategy team, into the role of vice president – financial planning, capital management and investor relations.
Hopkins has been with Cummins since 2009, when he joined the company’s finance development program after graduating from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Since then, he has worked in a variety of IR, financial control and strategy positions at the company.
He will head up a reshuffled IR team that still includes Nick Arens, executive director, investor relations and business analysis and planning, who joined Cummins in 2025.
‘Throughout his career, James has demonstrated strong financial leadership, broad business knowledge and a deep commitment to developing people,’ says Mark Smith, Cummins’ vice president and CFO. ‘His experience across finance, strategy, investor relations and operations, combined with his strong relationships with investors and other stakeholders, make him exceptionally well suited for this role.’
Meanwhile, NYSE-listed building solutions company Amrize has appointed Dillon Cumming as its new vice president of IR.
Cumming joins Amrize following a career with Wall Street institutions, having taken on roles of increasing responsibility in financial analysis, equity research and institutional advisory services. He most recently led financial and strategic analysis of the Industrials sector with Walleye Capital. Previously, he led coverage of building materials companies at Morgan Stanley.
Cumming joins as Amrize brings in Sam Poletti as its new CFO, succeeding Baris Oran, who is stepping down for personal reasons.
Over in Indianapolis, Kite Realty Group has brought in Cooper Clark as its new vice president, capital markets and investor relations.
Clark joins the REIT following seven years focused on the industry from the sell side, most recently serving as vice president and lead analyst covering the retail and lodging REIT sectors in equity research at Wells Fargo Securities.
Across the Atlantic Ocean in Lugano, Switzerland, steel trading and industrial firm Trasteel has appointed Alessandro Colombi as its new head of investor relations.
Colombi will build and lead Trasteel’s IR function ahead of its planned listing on the Nasdaq exchange via a SPAC merger with Sizzle II, which gives the Swiss company an estimated pre-money equity value of $800 mn.
He brings more than two decades of executive leadership across the industrial, commodities and media sector, including a prior senior leadership role within Trasteel.
‘I am delighted to rejoin Trasteel, a group that I have closely followed since incorporation,’ he says. ‘My focus will be on giving investors a clear and consistent view of how Trasteel creates value and on building the relationships that will support the company over the long term.’
In Copenhagen, Denmark, endoscopy firm Ambu has appointed Lisa Bedell Clive as its new head of IR.
She joins the Copenhagen-listed firm with 25 years of capital markets experience, working with Bernstein for the past two decades where she most recently served as senior research analyst, covering the European medical devices and services sector.
‘I’m very pleased to welcome Lisa to Ambu,’ says Henrik Skak Bender, Ambu’s CFO. ‘She is a highly respected voice in the med-tech investor community and brings a strong combination of capital markets expertise, industry insight and investor relationships.’
Finally, in Mumbai, India, Purvi Shah has joined Glenmark Pharmaceuticals as its general manager – investor relations.
She joins after two years with Alkem Laboratories as deputy general manager. Prior to that, she worked as a research analyst for many years, covering the pharmaceuticals and healthcare sectors at Kotak Securities, Sharekhan by BNP Paribas and Dalal & Broacha.
