The airline’s current head of IR, Peter Larkin, is moving to another senior role
Ryanair has announced the promotion of Jamie Donovan to head of investor relations. He takes over from Peter Larkin who is moving to ‘another senior internal role,’ according to a company statement.
Donovan joined the European airline as a trainee account, before taking up the role of IR analyst around three years later.
Ryanair says there will be a three-month handover period between Donovan and Larkin to ensure a smooth transition, running until the end of April.

‘We are pleased to appoint Jamie Donovan as our head of IR,’ says Ryanair’s group CFO Neil Sorahan in the statement. ‘His appointment comes at an important time, as Ryanair delivers a decade of growth to 300 mn passengers.’
Donovan added: ‘I am delighted to be appointed head of IR for Ryanair at this very exciting time for the Ryanair Group. I look forward to working with, and growing, our international investor base over the coming months and years.’
Elsewhere, Kate Bender has been promoted to senior director of IR at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), according to a LinkedIn post.
Bender joined the NYSE-listed pharmaceutical company in 2020 and moved to the IR department two years later. Prior to joining BMS, she held a variety of roles at Novartis Oncology.
