Other people changes come at Karman Space & Defense and Gold Road Resources
Boeing, the NYSE-listed global aerospace company, has appointed Eric Hill as its new vice president of IR. Most recently, he was vice president of finance for a Boeing division focused on mobility, surveillance and bombers.
Hill has been with Boeing for nearly nine years, holding a string of finance and corporate development roles. He takes over the IR seat from Matt Welch, who is becoming vice president and CFO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes.
‘Eric’s experience across our defense and commercial business and his time in investment banking will serve him well as he guides our interactions with shareholders and financial analysts,’ says Brian West, Boeing’s CFO, in a statement.

In other people news, Karman Space & Defense, which is based in Huntington Beach, California, has named Steven Gitlin as vice president of IR. Most recently, he worked as senior vice president of IR at Core Scientific. Before that, he was chief marketing officer and vice president of IR at AeroVironment.
‘Karman is excited to welcome Steve to the team to lead our IR function,’ says the company’s CFO, Mike Willis in a statement. ‘We are confident that his prior experience in the aerospace and defense industry and expertise in helping investors and analysts understand the value propositions of technology-driven companies will support our growth strategy.’
Gitlin adds: ‘Karman Space & Defense is uniquely positioned to continue supporting our nation’s strategic imperatives in defense and space with mission-critical subsystems. I am excited to share our story and articulate our growth strategy to the investment community.’
Finally, ASX-listed Gold Road Resources has named Brian Massey as its new general manager for IR and corporate development. He arrives from energy company Santos where he ran the IR function.
In total, Massey has two decades of experience across IR, finance, M&A and strategy. He has worked for a range of companies including Rio Tinto, BHP, Turquoise Hill Resources and Suncorp Australia.
‘Brian’s extensive experience in the resources sector and deep relationships in capital markets both in Australia and overseas will prove highly beneficial for Gold Road,’ comments Duncan Gibbs, the company’s managing director and CEO.
