People moves: Florent Chaix takes driving seat in Renault’s IR team as Alison Sternberg joins Shake Shack
Florent Chaix has taken up pole position in the IR team at car maker Renault, taking over as head of investor relations from outgoing chief Philippine de Schonen. Joining immediately, Chaix will work alongside de Schonen during a transition period lasting until September 12, during which time she will retain her role as director of M&A. The company adds that de Schonen is leaving the company ‘to pursue a new professional challenge’.

Brazilian airline GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes (GOL) has appointed Julien Imbert as its new CFO and head of IR. In a move effective from August 4, Imbert will take over responsibility for GOL’s investor outreach and broader financial activities, the company says in a press release.

Media firm Sinclair – which owns, operates or provides services to 185 television stations in 85 markets – has announced former IR professional Narinder Sahai as its new executive vice president and CFO. Spanish wireless telecommunications infrastructure and services firm Cellnex has brought in Maria Carrapato as its new group investor relations director. In her new role at the Madrid-listed company, she will lead the IR team and report to Raimon Trias, Cellnex’s CFO. Linda Pazin, formerly head of strategic communications at Sempra, has joined San Diego, California-based healthcare company Solventum, which was spun off from 3M in April 2024, as its new director of finance communications. Pazin has had a long and varied career in investor relations over the past few decades, including a stint as head of technology, global listings and west coast regional leader at Nasdaq alongside IR roles at Deckers Brands and Live Nation Entertainment. Experienced German IRO Patrick Möller has taken up a new role at Hamburg-based optician group Fielmann as its new director of investor relations. He joins the company after 17 years as vice president of investor relations at New Work, formerly known as Xing, during which time he was nominated for the award for best overall IR – small cap at the IR Magazine Awards – Europe 2016. He left his role at New Work following the company’s delisting from the Frankfurt Stock Exchange earlier this year.

Financial data provider FactSet has named Kevin Toomey as its new head of IR. He takes over from Yet He, the current interim head of investor relations, who will continue in his role as treasurer and head of financial planning and analysis. Most recently, Toomey was vice president of IR at Secureworks. Before that, he ran IR at Latch, which focuses on keyless security systems. Overall, he has more than 20 years of experience across IR, equity research and finance.
